No, you should be able to select the CB with the hard button switch next to that function from the main menu. Been a while since I had the radio you have but I believe there's a button associated with the home menu. That menu should also include a selection for the Intercom as well?

Do you have both antennas ?
Hook you head set up and give it a shot. It might take you a few minutes to figure out how to work it.
I have a 2011 Manual around here the setup was the same as the 2009.

I have both the CB and Ipod modules on the radio ( Stock HK ) shows

AM/FM/CD/Weather and IPOD , The CB does not show up , the bike has 2 antennas and all wiring is plugged in

I thought the CB would show up on the radio dash but it doesn't , bought the bike a couple years ago never had a headset or mike and never noticed if it ever worked , the curiosity bug strikes again

Thanks

Dave

You don't need the headset or microphone to listen to the CB. The CB function should show up in the Harman Kardon radio display. To verify operation of the CB module, maybe you could swap out with a friend that has one?

Not looking at it right now, but I think it's the middle button on left of display. Also make sure your audio selector switch it's in the "all to speaker" mode or cb traffic will route to the intercom. Should be in the full down (or towards the rider) position iirc.

Edit: memory is useless apparently. Upper left button marked com.
