Default New bars, where do the cables go???

I have put on new handle bars and now I am trying to put the grips and the turn signal/horn switches back on. The clutch and the switches dont fit together again, the wires are in the way, where do the wires go? Do I mash them between the two? I am not that good at describing, here are some pics.

Those wires should be up against the bars not out like you have them, the bars have a dimple(depression if you will) that they go down into, what kind of bars did you put on? When you put the switches on hold the cable close to the bar before you assemble the two halves,if possible look at another bike they all go the same way..good luck..

Looking closer at your picture the wire bundle needs to be under the bottom switch half instead of between..look at bottom switch half put it on last over the wires with the wires running next to bottom of handlebar in the depression or dimple.

I put on herritage bars, they look identical (except for the shape obviously) to the stock ones I took off.
