It's real simple: bunch of maps on Dyna jets site to chose from. You can tweek maps yourself adding or subtract in the tables. Rpm's & throttle position. And the USB you should be able to find someone that can tune it on a dyno. It just plugs in at the ecm, passes threw it first. Can tweek timing too. It's all that's needed for the MM system.

 

Thanks. The last link you sent shows "just the power commander" ?? Does that mean no USB cable or something else is missing that is needed?

 

I would think it comes with it but u have to load the program from the Dyna jets site to get program for your laptop (works best) or PC. It's a pretty common cable though, some phones the same.

 

I emailed the seller to find out what might be missing. You're thinking just download the software / driver and maybe buy a USB cable?

I think the PlayStation 3 charging cable works if you have one of those lying around.
It fits the PC5

 

Something you can check is the throttle position sensor. Mine needed replaced due to it not having a smooth reading across the range

 

Planning on checking the TPS with a multi-meter and resetting cold / hot idle.

 

u can check the temp sensor. it is basically a thermistor
