Default Cat converter help
I own a 2016 Street glide. I have aftermarket CFR slip ons with stock harley headers. I was looking at catless headers on eBay and they are priced pretty cheap. My only problem is that my whole engine/exhaust is black. What are some of the options i have to get those new chrome catless headers black??

ceramic coating is the best thing to use... If you have a coating shop near by.


Ive had off road pipes done before and ill bet by the time you pay 110 bucks for a catless pipe and the coating you could buy the fullsac sport X that is already black with some added performance.

Unfortunately I live in CA, and from what I've read they don't ship to CA.

why dont you just get black heat shields? or wrap the exhaust with black heat wrap first before you put on new black heat shields

exactly what I was going to suggest, this is what I did on my wide glide when I had it black slip ons and a set of black heat shields

Just goes to show ya, how screwed up California is politically.

Some exhaust makers here can't install the systems that they make, here. Just stupid.

Black ceramic coated heat shields. With some headers like Fuel moto 2-1-2 the stock heat shields go right on no problem.
These are the HD ceramic coated ones they held up well on mine.
