There are many, many posts here and in other forums of the problems people have with the little green TBW connector not seating properly, or jamming when being pulled through the right side of the bars, etc. Often the solution recommended is to simply cut and solder the wires to eliminate the connector completely.
But rather than solder what I did was to pull the wires (and their end connectors) out of their respective green housings. Then I simply plugged them together with a bit of shrink wrap around each wire to hold everything in place. Feeding it all through the bars went like a hot knife through butter - no fighting or tugging on wires required. And the best part is if I ever do need to replace anything all I have to do is cut the shrink wrap and pull it apart.
