You know it's rich at 55 so figuire out where that is in the map like was stated in my early post. And lean it out and around it and smooth it out. Say 6_8_10_ 8_ 8 so that it makes it work in your bikes. It's going to be mostly a curve threw the map that matters most the rest I talper off in the derrection it is. 20 then -5 becomes 10 _ 8. You should be able to have your own custom map in a couple weeks that runs better and cleaner. You don't want to keep running rich it will cake up your pistons and heads.

Timing can be changed if needed , I had to take some out that was added in the dyno jet map that was carried over to the dyno tune. This is bad if you have detonation which when small you can't hear but you can see small shinny specs on the plugs. Mine was at full throttle after RPM rise.

FWIW...at least in California, dealers are now only allowed to do EPA compliant downloads. No more non compliant dynotunes. Per my local dealer,

Be careful, i voiced the same opinion in another thread and was bashed for saying a map/download was a tune. Guy was rabid about how a bike could only be tuned on a Dyno.

Then that guy is simple minded. A map/download is a tune. Maybe not a good tune and possibly even a bad one but a tune none the less. Vehicles were tuned ages before a dyno machine was even invented. All a dyno machine does is allow a vehicle to be tuned with instant feedback, to a desired power profile.
If I'm not mistaken NASCAR teams tune and store maps for various engine configurations and tracks so that they can simply download a map that they have already tweaked for what/where they are running. Of course nothing's really thst simple but you get the point. To continue with the NASCAR analogy, I'd bet Richard Petty and crew tuned for years without benefit of a dyno.

In late '02 when I bought my '03 Ultra Classic I went with Scotsman heads, 95", S&S 510G cams with a PC3.

It made 95/96 on the dyno. I was not satisfied with that and switched to 37G cams.
Went to 98/98 on the dyno, but then starting having severe detonation issues under load in high temps.

Tried to get it tuned right but power went down.

All these years later I am still running the same rig with 26G's and the original PC3. Bike runs perfect, 90/90 hp & tq . I'm happy with it and still keep up with the newer bikes.

A decent dyno tune should not cost more than 2-3 hundred dollars.
Better you blow the motor up on a dyno than out on the road, just sayin....

Guys guys..what did I start here? All I originally commented on was about the ridiculous cost of the only local dyno tuner in my area. The reason I was looking to get it done, was not for horsepower or torque but to have the bike run its cleanest and most efficient given the mods I made. I noticed a large decrease in fuel mileage. I'm not &itching at the cost of fuel, other than it seemed excessive. A clean running efficient running engine will last longer then some behemouth belching out black smoke. That's all folks. Nothing more or less other than the rant about the cost of a dyno in my area. My bike runs good but I'm a perfectionist and given what I have to work with, I would like the best possible within reason, and $850 is not with in reason. My gosh ive seen guys get their periods on here just talking about oil.

Like I said, 2-3 hundred for a decent dyno tune. Most old time tuners will still support the PC3, and will be happy to take your money.

yep at some point I broke down and didnt care about price,hp, or what ever...just wanted a perfectly running bike and would have shipped it to califonia if i had to....perfection.That will always haunt you.

btw with my mods i did make a nice gain 10/10,tuner said he could double that if i changed to performance pipes...never did.
