Default fuelpak issues

This is the second bike that I've run a V&H fuelpak .
I think the bike runs ok on flat ground but sucks on
a grade . I've got several friends that got rid of their
fuelpak & went to the Stage 1 download & saw vast
improvement in performance . Anybody here had this
experience ? I am going to add a Stage 1 air cleaner
& get away from the stock housing with the K&N filter .

I had one on my 2010 ultra it ran ok but not great I started having problems and I spent a whole day talking to V&h trying different maps finally I had them give me a rma to send it in to de checked they called me after they ran it through all the computer checks and told me it was fine then they said they wanted to do one more test they put it on a bike and rode it. A few days later they called a said ok there is something wrong with it seeing I was the original purchaser they gave me credit towards the new FP3 and buddy there is no contest between the two my bike has never ran that good.

It doesn't suck it works great and easy to install and if you can't find a map just give them a call. When I picked my map I was able to add the fact that I had put a 103 kit in it then I called and they were able to take that map and add my cams then sent it to my phone the whole process took about 20 minutes

I've been running this a couple of years & always thought it should run better .
I've thought maybe that's just how it ran 2-up . Since I retired I've been riding
solo more while she's at work . It just has crappy power going uphill . I'm
tired of it . It runs about the same no matter the load .

Call v&h and tell them wats up see what they think if you think it has a problem ask if you can send it in to be checked. Really the FP3 is the way to go if they will help you with that it would be a plus. The performance difference in my bike was a shock
