Default Front Brake rotor question

Just had a new front right brake rotor come for my 08 ultra. Old rotor part # 41808-08, new rotor part #41808-08A. Noticed a different profile. Call to dealer tomorrow. Picture included. Anyone else have this issue?

Its not an "issue" its an UPDATED part, thats why the "A" has been added to the part number!

The update sometimes simply indicates a different supplier, however by the difference we can see there I suspect the change in shape has a deeper meaning. Which is the new one?

So it is an updated/ superseded part. The new one is one the left of picture.

It's an "issue" for me because I have to install a different looking rotor or buy another one to match. At $217 a pop, that's not happening.

Yes believe it or not but the polished ones are cheaper, around $190 plus bolts, here in Newfoundland

Might be able to find a take off set for cheap or I agree there are a lot of good aftermarket options.
