Hey Folks. I have a 12v plug I am going to install in the tour pak and I wanted to know if anyone knows what connector plug I need to connect to the existing accessory connector in the tour pak and used on the limited of a 2013 Ultra Classic.
Is there a part number for it through HD?
Is there another source to purchase this plug from?
If need be I can cut the plug and direct splice, but I would rather not if I can get the plug. I also realize that HD makes a plug and play add on complete unit, but I can't justify spending $50 on that goofy thing.
Thanks for the help!

There should be a plug under your seat just behind the tank.I believe the cap on the acc plug is gray or black .if I remember right harley has an extension that plug and play.

Yes, granted, there is a deutch connector under the seat that is run be the ACC switch in the fairing. Once again, this is not the goal, please see the picture above, (I hope it uploaded) this is the tour pak, there is a connector (#2) and a power outlet (#5) that I do not have, and want to add, I'm looking for connector type #2. This is not the acc connector under the seat. Thank you for trying.

Unless you have a CVO there is no plug or connector already in the tour pack, that's why your picture say's "If equipped".
You can try to tap into your light harness and take a chance of blowing fuses or buy the Harley add on harness and tap into the acc connector under the seat.
You could also just buy a cheapo 12v plug and directly wire it to your battery and ground it just make sure you have an in line fuse, you just take a chance of draining your battery if you leave something plugged in.
I installed the Harley 12v plugs in my tour pack and saddlebag, very convenient for longer road trips. They come with water tight harnesses and all the mounting hardware for a clean install.
What year is your bike, if it's pre 09 you might have something that I don't know about?
Thank you for your input. Not trying to be a dick but, does no one actually read my entire question, or look at the picture posted?
- There IS a connection in the tour pak MADE FOR the 12v outlet.
- I DO NOT need the plug UNDER THE SEAT.
- I DO NOT have a power outlet in my tour pak.
- I DO HAVE the wiring harness with the connector there.
- I am looking to purchase the mating connector to splice into a 12v outlet to plug into that connector.
- I have an aftermarket 12v outlet.
- I am NOT paying $50 for the Harley 12v outlet, with the wiring harness made for that connector.
- all I want is to know if anyone can help to source THAT CONNECTOR or if there is a HD part #.
Thank you HINZY I will give that a try.
ORRADTECH, I do have the manual I'll dig and see what I find.
I figured for sure someone had already done this.
thanks again.
