Default Ride Str8

Has anyone fitted a Ride Str8 device to there tourer. I am having trouble with a wobble and currently thinking its to do with the rear swingarm pivot/ bearings/ rubbers. I would still like the bike rectified by the dealer before fitting this brace, and then fit this to tie it together better.

I installed it in mine as well. Short runs it is fine. Big test will be next week in Laconia.

I have the Alloy-Art Touring TXR. It seems to work great but I am getting more vibration from the floorboards and shifter. Only had it on for a few days so far. I have a call into the manufacturer to see what can be done.

Just put the RideStr8 on my 06 EGC and on the local rides it's been doing the job. The wife and I will be taking off for a trip to Oregon and will let post how it works on those remote back roads when we get back next week.

The trip was great and the bike handled better than ever before. Posted more of the story under "Touring Models"

Thats one of the reasons I sent mine back and got the true track. The design of the txr interferes with the movement of the rubber mounted motor hence the vibration. The true track stops side to side movement but allowas the rubber mounts to do there job. The more you tighten up the adjustment on the txr the more vibration you get. The true track gave my bike a much solider feel in the corners than the txr and you get no extra vibration. I'am sure the ridestr8 works equally as well as the true track. Anybody considering the txr go another route, between the vibration and the decrease in ground clearance there are alot better systems out there for about the same money.

Added the ride str8 to my 06 SG. Also added progressive shocks and fork springs. Turnpike exit where wobble used to occur is still there but no more wobble. Bike handles soooo much better. Only problem now is I'm dragging pieces in the turns. Oh well. Would install it again if I happen to trade my bike in. Worth the bucks.
