Default The Dreaded ABS Light

Two days ago it flashed stayed on then went off, now since yesterday it's been on. Anyway to pull a code or find out what's the problem, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and help. 2012 RG 27,000 miles.

First thing to do is dig into your factory service manual and see what it tells you.

Might help to know: what you ride-year, model, mileage, have you done anything to it recently, tire change, handle bars, new grips, installed a radio or taken apart anything electrical and reassembled. Recent high pressure wash job or even a garden hose? Has it been involved in an accident or even fallen over? Malfunctions and some codes vary by year, YOU know ALL of that stuff but are keeping it secret.

2012 RG, 27,000 miles cams and pistons where done to it last year, the only recent thing that I've done is changed all three oils, motor, clutch, and tranny. No I haven't power washed it and no I haven't been down on it, no there's no coode that I know of, I checked it yesterday. I've only owned the bike for 3 weeks purchased it from a guy that worked at Walters Custom Bagger it was his personel bike and featured in drag specialty mag, bike is 100% when I purchased it

I have had this happen 3 times. Each time it was a break in the wire near the steering head. The wire was soldiered back together. To find it was easy, turn the bars to the left until they hit the stop, then look for where wires may be getting mashed-crimped. This is where my break was. There is a connector on the abs wires up in the steering head area that needs to be checked and will also show you the wire that run back under the gas tank. Hope this helps.
