I have a 2015 Rushmore Roadhouse special, purchased part number 59600008, tri light for the rear fender.
This is fitted to USA models but not on bikes in the UK.
Fits great and the LED,s are good, but ........the rear turn signal/brake/stop lights don't work.
I have taken it off for now.
Can anyone explain why the it does not seem compatible with the UK models.
Cheers
that is an original tri bar light as far as I know the only function they have is as a
running light
they don't have brake/signal function..
+1
The OEM Tri Bar light is only a running light.
HD does have an upgraded Tri Bar light in the parts/accessories catalog that does have the brake light option. They won't have a turn signal option on that light though, as it sits right in the middle of the fender.
I added one of them to my previous Street Glide.
It is a plug in play part, remove the old one plug in the new one.
Your bike being an international model though, I am not sure if it would work the same.
But if the one you purchased works as a running light, the upgraded one will very likely add the brake light option as well.
Thanks for the reply guys.
I may not have made myself clear, the Tri light part i purchased replaced the blank one fitted in the uk.
IT works fine as a extra tail light but the turn signal indicators on my bike will not function, not the tri light.
I understand i have a international model, but are you suggesting Harley have different wiring looms on the Rushmore Roadglide models.
Cheers

WOW so you installed the tri bar and the signals quit working??
as mentioned you need to look at wiring diagram fro both USA and UK models and see what differences are
I think it might be because the circuit board in the TriBar light isn't compatible with your bike. Is the TriBar a UK or US part? I'd also check the FSM for wiring clarification. The rear lights work through the tribar lights as it is part of the rear light circuit. I tapped into mine to get my tourpack lights to work the way I wanted them to.
You need the factory service manual old chap, which should show US and International spec differences, where they exist. You should also have the instructions that came with the tri-light kit, which may help explain what is different with your bike.
Your UK bike is probably the same as my Canadian bike.As a previous poster stated, the non functioning tribar light is just a feed through to operate your tail light and signals. The wiring on the output side of the US light is totally different from ours.I believe that Custom Dynamics now makes a light that is compatible with our rides.
