+1 on the Andrews 21 cams. Gives you low down pull. Kicks in about 1700 rpm, almost right off the line and pulls as far as I want to push it. Great for 2 up also. I can pull the Arkansas hills lots better now. Instead of downshifting, just twist the throttle.

It's not "CAM UPGRADE - SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT" general thread...the OP started it asking about his application

The OP's bike and your bike are completely different animals...different engines...different cams... no correlation.

People reading can be easily confused.

Start your own thread and let people chime on cams that apply to your configuration and others that have the same



.

Imho, a good tuner,a/c and a dyno tune will be all you need. If you want to change cams,look at the Andrews 48.

First, you're highjacking the OP's post, making it more difficult for him to get the advice he's looking for.


Second, you aren't going to get the advice you're looking for because people are either going to ignore you because of the highjack or they're not going to see your request because it's for a different application.


Hopefully this thread doesn't completely derail so the OP can get the info he's looking for.

If you want power to get your beast rolling quickly, and power when you need it. Andrew 21 all the way. This is not a top end cam. But it shines in all your everyday riding.
