Eating rear wheel bearings
My son has an 02RK that he has owned for two years and has went through 2sets of rear wheel bearings already.
Now that he has it broke down I want to go over everything really good to find the cause and was wondering just what I needed to be looking for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never heard of this happening before.
Is he using quality bearings?
Wash his bike at the car wash and direct spray into bearings.
Maybe rides a lot in the rain.
Or possibly a different/custom wheel and not machined correctly?
Only things I can think of, but sure others will have ideas or cures.

There is NO end play to set on 2000-later Sealed Ball. End Play was set on 1999-earlier Tapered Roller
