Homer1, What's your compass? I've been looking for a discreet digital compass to install on my bike . If I turn around three times , I'm lost! If yours is mechanical it's probably electrical interference

It would help to know what make and model compass you have. Most electronic compasses in cars are calibrated by riding around in circles for a short period. You might try doing that with yours.

Many GPS or navigation apps display the compass orientaion relative to your vehicle. You might be able to use that to adjust your compass.

Electronics....radio....speakers....I dunno, magnets??? I've heard that's why you don't see compasses on most all bikes!! I would love to have one, but felt why waste time and money installing one if it won't work!

Dakota digital has one, not cheap. Replaces your air temperature gauge.

An understatement for sure, lol. $279.00 to tell me what direction I'm going??

The sun hasn't failed me yet. rises in the east, sets in the west. Can you google the model for user instructions?
