More details please on how you mounted the 2014 fender to your 99 bike! They changed the frame in 08 making the rear wider so I’m curious how you got that fender to bolt up without serious mods. Thanks.

You guys with the no brake light issue on the pre-Rushmore bikes will need something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Powered-3-t...Cclp%3A2334524. The bike is set up for two different circuits for brake and turn signals. The new fender/light has turn/brake on one circuit. The adapter takes the brake signal from the bike and powers both new lights to work as brake lights as well as turn signals. Guys with a Rushmore bike will probably need a BCM reflash to get the setup to work. I haven't been that deep in the wiring on one of them yet.

I cut the mounting & front section of the 99 fender, split it down the middle & welded it to the 14 fender while narrowing the 14 fender at the front section that mounts to the bike.

Just a quick update on another solution (in my case) for this issue. Contacted Custom Dynamics and they told me I needed the Standard Smart Triple Play unit. It was $85 but was simple, plug and play and all of my lights work like they should. Can't say enough about the crew at CD!
