Noted, thanks for the update. Is there a question?

When you post like this, you invite snarky repsonses.

Year of bike? Did you do any mods? Circumstances surrounding failure? Trouble shooting done so far?

Any recent handlebar/control work?
Did you check the brake switches (both)?

Lots of things to check.
The first should be your FSM.

Truer words have never been spoken. But isn't it ever so much easier to just put it out there on the World Wide Web, cuz some Helpful Honda Guy will chirp right in with a solution.

Veekness is correct.
Google search turns back a number of hits on this problem. Checking for a stuck brake light switch was a popular fix, another was a switch under the front brake lever may be broken. Checking the "roll off connector"? That'll keep you busy for an afternoon. I don't have CC on anything but my Ford.
Search it out and you'll come to a solution.

You're a helpful Honda guy?
The FSM will give the correct troubleshooting procedure.
FWIW, Google can be a good source but the answers it gave you are likely fails for the OP,s problem.

Hah! I agree re: FSM...I've noticed that often guys get on forums, and ask questions rather than take the time and effort to go to the manual, looking for an easy, quick solution...or they haven't invested the small amount of money for an FSM. Kinda like the parable of 'If you want to feed a man today, give him a fish. If you want to feed him for a lifetime, teach him HOW to fish'... So, sir, your point is well taken!!!

Helpful Honda Guy here. Take your brake lever and throttle cable apart and clean the brake contact switch. Check your manual (oh, you don't have a manual) then be careful that you use the compensatory shim when taking apart your brake lever or you will ruin the switch.

Oh, and if you don't have a manual get one because most of the guys on this forum will admonish you severely if you don't. The first couple of tips are free however, if you run into a Helpful Honda guy (anyway.)

PS: Another thing you will find here is that you will get a lot of comments from guys that don't actually have anything "helpful" to contribute but they do have the snarky remarks. It pads their post count.
