Default Low oil pressure and Heating up (2012 FLTRU)

I have 15,374 miles on my 2012 Road Glide Ultra. I was riding n the city the other day and noticed my oil pressure dropping very low, around 3-5 lbs. If I increased my RPM's it would come back up. I also noticed my temp went up to 90-100 degrees. I changed my oil and oil filter 900 miles ago and I am using the Harley synthetic oil. Can anyone please help.

It's not uncommon for mine to look like it's almost down to zero when sitting or cruising slow in traffic. When running along normal it goes up to around 32ish. There are springs that are offered to put in the cam plate to raise the oil pressure if you are so inclined such as Axtell or Baisley, etc. I assume yours already has the factory oil cooler as well?

Matter of fact I do have the stock oil cooler but I have been looking at the (Ultra- Cool) REFFER 2.0. Any thoughts?

I think its over kill for what you need. Just recognize slow or non moving traffic, the bike gets hot.

its an air cooled engine, it gets hot but does not self destruct.

Maybe the oil filter. I've had that problem myself.
