Default dragonfly concepts fairing
Hey was wondering if anyone has a dragonfly bat fairing and was able to install Infinity 6x9 693.11i speakers in them?I have the focal ISC690 speakers in there now and not to impressed.The infinitys look pretty big.Thx

I will say back in the day when I was into car audio, I had Kappas in my car, 6.5s and 6.9s. The cones are deep! If you order them from amazon, you can always send them right back if the fairing is too shallow.

Well thats one way to do it but figured maybe someone has done it or tried but if no1 has i guess i will try it and see

When I use to have DF fairing I tried to mount some Polk Momo's and they were too deep. I ran some Kenwood 3 ways that sounded real good behind amp though.

was looking at polk MM691 mounting depth is 3 3/16 i think the dragonfly fairing as long as its no deeper than 3 9/16 polks should fit but they are pricey for what they are.But i think the infinity magnets are too big and may hit the fairing mounting brackets

I had hertz HCX 690's that I moved to the back ( remove the rubber boot on magnet) currently running Audio Frog 6x9's driving them with JL MHD 600 x 4

how did you like the HCX 690 when you had them in your dragonfly fairing?I think they would be an upgrade from the focal ISC 690 i have now.So all you had to do to make them fit was remove the plastic covering around the magnet.Any special tricks to getting the cover off?

Bad experience with dragonfly fairing but must admit the speakers were loud enough to hear doing 80 down the highway.
