Question Wheel Swap

Just a quick triple check before I spend some money. I found a pair of 2010 SG wheels that I want to swap onto my 2009 RKC. These wheels came off a non-ABS bike and mine is also a non-ABS bike. My bike needs new tires and these wheels come with tires that need replacing as well. Anything going to stand in my way on this deal? I was saving up for some chrome wheels, but the price I found these for is pretty good and I absolutely want to get rid of the spokes/tubes on my ride. Thanks!!

What about going for one of the newer 19" 14+ wheels. You can get those for around $250 on Craigslist with low miles on the tire.

Should be good to go as well. I put a 19" enforcer on my 08 (non-abs) and it was a direct swap.

Worst case on earlier bikes I believe the only thing would be to swap out the wheel bearings for the smaller axle --which would have to be done anyway if you're getting a ABS wheel and have a NON-ABS bike. Still sometimes cheaper then buying a new tire and having it mounted. Plus I think the 14+ 19" wheels are some of the best looking stock wheels --that was one of the reasons I swapped my '13 wheel for a '14+ wheel --besdies got a new tire, wheel, and rotors for cheaper then it would've cost to get a new front tire.

I bought 2014 streetglide wheels for my 2012 road king. I had to swap the bearings as they had ABS bearings in them and my bike doesnt have ABS.
Thats a worse case issue though, if they dont have ABS bearings, then its just a straight swap.
Go with the newer wheels, they look so much better than the older wheels.

Default Got 'em

Ok, picked them up and spent 5hrs with some Simple Green, mag polish, and wax. Now they look like new. The tires on them are pretty used up, as promised, but it brings about a tire size question.

On my RK the front is a 130/90 R16. The SG front wheel has a 130/70 R18. Will replacing the used up SG tire with one of the same size work well on the RK with everything else remaining stock (fender, spacers, brakes etc)? I am planning on polishing the rotors before adding this setup to my ride, so pictures to follow (hopefully).
