While clearing out the ants that I found in the tour pack I noticed another antenna cable. One went to the radio antenna and the other cable was just laying there. Is that for if I want to disconnect the CB antenna and put another radio antenna on?
Bike was under the cover for the past few days due to rain. When I took cover off yesterday I noticed ants on the tour pack. I started looking around and pulled the side of the liner out and looked down and saw all of the ants. Pulled liner out and sprayed ant spray to kill them then vacuumed them out.
Are you the original owner?
If not my guess is it's a bad cable that a P.O. replaced and just left the old one.
You could always swap them and see if the reception suffers.
Odd about the ants. Was there anything to attract them?
