Default Stock 103 Torque Range

Just curios where these things stop pulling. Seems like my 2012 drops off quick around 4200.

That's about right, as per the attached, the dashed black line is stock torque.

Oh God, 4200 rpms...your gonna blow it up, I read in MANY places around here (so it must be true) you want to hold it between 2200 and 2500! 4200 rpms....oh the insanity!

My 2013 stock felt like it would fall on its face around 3500. I remember saying I'm leaving this one bone stock. That lasted one season / 15,000 miles. Is your bike still all stock?

Yes, they are pretty much woofers stock. The dyno below shows an initial stock run, then the after tuned run. Bike was still stock. Just a tune done. Shows you how bad the factory tune is. That is a Rushmore 103.

But notice the torque still waving the white flag by 4500.

I think you missed where he said "Bike was still stock. Just a tune done."

Hey, at least you've got the 103. My 96" Road King was a real pig when stock. The Fuel Moto Stage 1 upgrade was a nice bump in torque, and the Stage 2 cam upgrade really woke up the midrange+. Nothing a little well planned out spending can't fix!

Love how the torque comes on early and drops off at the higher revs
