you need the whole story- one of the statements on the tv news froma witness is that the car had run the bike out of the lane and that this jockeying had been going on for a while...long enough to start filming
so incomplete.
coincidently or not, a few days previous a video of a car swerving at bikes lane splitting on an LA freeway and later trying to chase bikes was shown on the tv news.
I've been cut off and i use the air horn ( which interrupts their phone conversation)- I had a Pal who had NO problem tossing used batteries at the window glass.

Agreed, complete information is not there. Usually the guy who throws the second punch gets caught. Biker got lucky to be able to go home. 99% of these don't end well for two wheeler.
We've all had issues with cagers on the road. Gotta know when to back off and let the cage "win".
