Bought a used Screamin Eagle EFI super tuner ?

Default Bought a used Screamin Eagle EFI super tuner ?
So, I bought a used 32109-08c Screamin Eagle EFI super tuner...I got it from a buddy that sold his bike. He bought a new 2015 HD - his HD dealer (at the time) installed an aftermarket exhaust and air cleaner with the tuner. He sold his bike. Here is my question: Can I use this tuner on my bike? I've heard the term "tuner is married" Is there anybody that can un marry this tuner...or did I waste $$? Thanks in advance.

That tuner will only work with the bike it was married to. I know of no way to reuse it.

Yep, unless you can find a 14 year old who can "divorce" it, what you've got there is an interesting key fob.

Sounds like you already knew the answer. Now you get to see how much of a "buddy" you have when you ask for your money back. Hope it all works out.

Barring that, can you get the contact information for the new owner of your buddy's old bike ? The tuner may be worth something to him. I wouldn't give your bargaining position high marks at this point though.
