I've had 2 FX type bikes, wife was never into riding with me.
I bought an ultra classic and she was hooked. Have had 2 now.
She's a fun, good looking, classy gal, good sport.
We've ridden these bikes to everything you can imagine, Black Tie, cocktail dress events.... DO we get some looks riding up and parking at the front door of an event...
We've ridden the bike into Mexico, all over Nevada, Calif & Arizona.
SHE... wants to take it anytime we go most anywhere, around town errands, etc.
It's fun
OK, my 2 centavos. I got my 2015 a year ago. After 7,000+ miles over the year, I have found out my wife loves to ride. So I have been adding stuff for her riding pleasure. Had I known how much we would ride, I would have gone with an RGU. The suspension on my RGS is clearly for looks only, cuz when we are 2 up any bump is magnified. I agree that the dressers, undressed are not show pieces, it depends on what you want to do with it.
