mine clicks not clunks since I switched to synthetic in the primary and transmission. It even changed my iron horse, which was the worst clunk I have ever heard. I use mobile 1 75-90 in tranny, and redline primary fluid with shock proof in primary. The 1 thing I changed this time was synthetic in the motor. I wanted it to run a little cooler. I used Valvoline 20-50 4t synthetic motorcycle oil from wally world
