Default LED lights and brakes

I have a 15 Road Glide and I bought a Joe Florida LED kit that I am supposed to be able to tap into the brake lights so that the LEDs will turn on (red) when you apply the brakes. But they didn't include instructions on how to do this, and I don't want to spend a bunch of hours "looking for a work around", so has anyone done this with great success?

Did you get the wiring polarirty correct? LEDS are polarity sensitive.

Under the seat, in front of the battery, or possibly under the left side cover - it depends on the bike/year, there is a unused 4 conducor plug that is the accessory plug. One of the wires is power to the accessory switch, one is powered when tbe ignition is turned one, one is a ground wire and the last is a brake light feed. You could tap into the ground and brake light circuit there.

I hear Lincoln Tech has a real nice electrical program. Only kidding. Did you wire it up and now it doesn't work? There should be 3 wires. 1 for GND. 1 for the running light and 1 for the brake light.

Shouldn't have cheapened out on safety. Bright *** lights or Custom Dynamics. Was the money you saved worth it now?
