Some asked about my powder coated handlebars. Many have seen them in black but not in too many other colors....Here you go!

Doohickey back in place! Lol I have a very good powder coating guy here in Vermont. I have no idea how he preps but I can tell you I've never had a bad piece from him and his pricing is incredible. You can crank bolts down on his powder job with all the torgue you need and that powder doesn't dimple. Race Metal Smiths in Vermont.

Take the part to a chrome shop and they can strip the chrome. ..can be done with muriatic acid...don't whiff it...or if you have equipment. skills, use abrasives to put 'tooth" on the chrome. ..self etching primer. ..then paint. The quality of the result will depend on the quality of the prep work.

Definitely not for the squeamish or clean freaks. Dirty work.

Oh...DO NOT use the acid method on aluminum parts. If the fumes don't kill ya, the part won't survive. Trust me in this. ..

Looks very nice, and can save your passengers leg/foot should an inattentive driver put you down.... Powder Coating was the way to go, super clean.
