Super Shocks has a good return policy if you don't like 'em.
Reviews have been good.
Supershox also have a newer, longer shock, that comes with extension bracket,. I have a set, and they are awesome, also coming out this fall with a front end system
For about $20 you can drain that 5 wt. mouse milk and put in 20 wt. shock oil. If you still don't like those shocks, you have all but about $20 left to spend. After changing to the 20 wt. my Road King never bottomed again.
Stock air sucks! I don't find the "premium adj" too bad but could use help.
On other bikes I have had or ridden :
Ohlin; which are great, depending on the price from Howard the can be affordable but do not pay retail for the high end option as most do not need them.
Progressive 944; a nice upgrade from stock for an out of the box shock. just set preload/sag and go.
Revo-Legends; another great out of the box shock option
