Any of you guys ever buy anything from AmericanClassicMotors on Ebay? They have a ton of favorable reviews 40,000 positive the past twelve months.....Their Mustang Ultra Regal touring seat is $329 vs. $430 from J & P, or Mustang's web site. Think this is legit??

 

Haven't ever bought from them, but when using Ebay I always pay close attention to the feedback. If they have a lot positive and only a few negatives I always go through and read the negatives.

 

I just don't understand why they are 90 bucks cheaper....maybe J & P is just that much higher...

 

Buy it from them and save the money, or due a search on eBay and compare it with others, I've made a bunch of ebay purchases in the last two weeks happy so far.

Yes, the reputable ebay sellers are that much cheaper and offer significant discounts. Just confirm with a question to the seller before buying that the item is new in the box and confirm the part number you need. Also, check with Charlies' (formerly Benjy's HD) in WVA; I was quoted $199 plus $10 shipping on a Mustang solo for my '04 EG that lists on the Mustang website for $269.

 

I've bought a couple of things from them. Saved a few hundred dollars.
Both purchases went well - I would buy from them again.

 

I do alot on Ebay, buy and sell and i have found that ACM to be one of the best sellers on E-Bay, bare none, go with it, Putt

 

I have bought from them several times. Overall I'm happy since I saved money. I did have one problem when they did not send the install kit with my cams and gears. I called them and the kid that answered was a ****. He basically told me that his friend runs the shipping department and does not make mistakes. I told him that there was no room in the container for the 3rd missing item. He says then contact ups and file a claim. He did not care when I informed him that would be mail fraud since there was no hint of the package being tampered with. Long story short I ran to the dealership and picked up the install kit since that was the only thing holding me back, and they refunded me 1/2 of the cost $13.00. I left them a neutral feedback and they left me a negative. Then I get an email requesting a withdrawal of both feedbacks. I no longer leave feedback first. That is the only downfall to ebay's system. I have not ordered from them since...there are plenty of other discount warehouses.

I just recently got the Mustang Regal from them. Shipped from Pa. to Az. in less than a week (6 days). The manufacture date was on the box from mustang which was recent, and it was 1 of 92 that had been shipped to the Ebay vendor. I have had good results with them.
