As the title states, I have a mysterious sound/noise when cornering...a "howling" type sound. Bike is a 2012 UC with just over 25,000 miles on it, non ABS.
It's most noticeable when cornering...going into sweepers mostly. More pronounced when cornering left, but also there (not as much) cornering right. Just as soon as the bike begins to lean into the turn, I hear it. Thought it might be tires...replaced both recently with Dunlop American Elites (love them by the way)...sound is still there. Had my indy check front wheel bearings...all good.
Sound like cupped tires. Yep, only in corners makes sense.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to ride in the rain. WDB
Was the belt adjusted properly after the rear tire was replaced?
If it has new tires, seems like belt or bearings could be suspect?
As I originally said, I also thought tires so changed them. I assume my indy adjusted the belt properly. Again, the sound was there before & after tire change. Also thought front bearings but they checked out good.
