Time to do a little upgrading to my paid for, tried and true 05 Ultra.
Just upgraded the came chest, ready for a little more.
I have full sac dual exhaust and SE slip ons.
Stock cam.
I'm looking to fuel moto, at their 2 into 1 kit and combining it with their DynoJet tuner.
I like the sounds of my true duals. Not obnoxious, nice rumble when you're on the gas and a pleasant note while cruising at 3 to 3300K on the slab.
Does anyone have sound clips from a TC88 and the 2 into one?
I'm 110% certain the fit, function and quality are nothing but top notch, it's the norm for Fuel Moto.
I'm certain with the 2 into 1 and Power Vision it will boost performance a little and run cleaner/stronger all around for a little TC88 motor.
I just don't want an obnoxious sounding exhaust note, that's life in the burbs for you. I try to be the considerate neighbor not the jerk off.
I'm very happy with the 2-1-2 Fuel Moto headpipe I bought 5 years ago for my 96" RKC. I paired it with their 4" Jackpots as I didn't want to go with the true 2:1 look for my Classic. I bought a PC-V at the same time, and it's worked flawlessly.
Couldn't be happier with my Fuel Moto setup. Upgrading to a PowerVision soon...
To me, sound clips and videos can never truly capture the sound of an exhaust system. With exhausts, much like handlebars, windshields, and seats, you pretty much have to step out on faith to find the one you want. This often gets expensive.
Call them up and ask them, from what I hear they won't steer you wrong.
I am looking at upgrading the exhaust on my ultra this winter since I dropped one of my slip-ons earlier this year and it got a bad case of road rash (I forgot to tighten the hanger bolts ) and am leaning the same way.
I have the FM Jackpot R&T 2-1 on my 103, and I fricken love it. I went from Thunderheaders on my old bike, and these aren't nearly as obnoxious if you're smooth on the throttle. engine braking is also reasonable, and doesn't come with the harsh note that straightpipes tend to give.
Nice low, mellow note while cruising, and early morning startups are at a reasonable volume so to not annoy the neighbors. That being said, if you rap on it, she barks back pretty good. And it's SUCH a pleasing sound. Tunnels now fear me...
