As every one knows Harley parts are expensive. Does any one have a place to order parts that are cheaper. I am fairly new to biking and Harley so my experience level is very low. thanks
For new genuine Harley parts I've found Boardtracker HD to have really good prices and pretty quick delivery. If you're going non-OEM or aftermarket obviously eBay is a great choice just be careful sometimes you get what you pay for.
I came to Harley from another brand, and the first thing I thought was: these parts are a bargain and there are so many to chose from!
OEM parts are going to be salty, but chances are that some other company is also making a similar product. With HD stuff, there seems to be three grades of product. "Cheap", middle, and premium.
What are you looking for? There might be a vendor on the site that offers a discount.
I buy a lot of stuff after market from eBay. It's hit or miss. If it's something you're going to drop a lot of money on, Google it. There's tons of reviews before you buy.
I've gone to two dealers in the area, explained to them I can buy from them or I could buy from dealers on the internet with better pricing. I now give them a price and they match it.
Take the time to talk to them, can't hurt.

At that, even the discount online dealers are making a hefty profit. Just not as hefty.
I have been using Boardtracker for a while. Watch out for shipping fees. Sounds tacky, but consider a wish list of smaller things, and when you decide to order, add from this list to get up to their free shipping amount if needed. I call these "Add Ons".
