Default windshield

Just picked up a 2017 Street Glide--at 6`3``need taller windshield--what height and brand name would be best to cut off some of the wind but still see over---thanks

I am the same height. I would suggest at least 12 -14" shield.

I'm 6'2" tall and have a LRS 10" flattop elite and it provides me a nice clean pocket of air

I'm 6' and a 7" LRS worked for me so you're probably in the 10" range.

Go to the Long Ride Shields (LRS) website. They have instructions on how to measure for a proper fit for you. This allows you to measure in your normal riding position. You never know how others ride, slouched over, leaning back, sitting tall, etc. So their well meaning suggestions aren't really helpfull to you.
LRS are good people with good shields and reasonable prices and as long as you don't remove the film, they are returnable. Give them a call, they'll help.

Personally, I like the look and preformance of their recurve shields

Even somebody who is shorter needs a bigger shield then what the sg comes with. Can't go wrong with a LRS, good prices, service and quality.

The stock shield on a SG is strictly for looks. Provides practically no wind protection. So basically, they are the first thing to get tossed.
