Hmm, the manufacturer recommends a velcro strap on the brake lever??
You would think that they could up with some better than that! HAHA
Sorry, I have no answer for you, just thought that was a bit strange..
They might as well tell you to carry around some wheel chocks in your bags!
I have an 07 Road Glide with a Rekluse clutch. Love the clutch except when I need to park on a slope or hill.
Rekluse recommends holding the front brake and putting a velcro strap on to keep the brake engaged.
Trying to find a 12 volt line lock that is small enough to fit on the frame.
Any suggestions?
How small exactly do you want?
First google result I got was one that's 2.8" long x 1.7" dia on ebay. Lots of places that will fit on a bike. Some even close to brake lines...
Personally, as cheesy as it sounds, I'd go with the velcro. Tons simplier, MUCH less expensive, you'll never pull off with the brakes left on and it's unlikely to fail if/when the battery dies...

I have had a Rekluse since the first week on this bike and find the strap works fine. I try not to use it unless I really need it. I try to park on the level or back up against a curb. I keep one wrapped around the bars next to the brake res and 2 more hanging from velcro pads on the front wall of each saddlebag where I can reach them.
I would also be concerned about the possibility of brake failure or lockup if that line blocker malfunctioned.

You don't want an electrical line lock. if you have a electrical problem it won't work. If you have to lock it open & have a problem it would lock the line to when you applied the brakes they wouldn't release.
If you put in a line-lock go with a manual set-up. DOT outlawed them for use as the only parking brake on vehicles.
The velcro strap is what I use with my Trike. It is a heavy duty cargo strap that the front area locks with the back side of the same strap.(Lowes/Home Depot)
When the switch is off the brake lights don't work.
Harley came up with 2 different parking brakes on the TriGlides that are both a POS !
Don't go messing with your hyd brakes !
