Default LED to replace bulbs

I'm wanting to change the bulbs on my 2007 EGC to LED. I know I would need a load equalizer for the turn signals, but.....

Anyone change all bulbs; headlights, spots and all others? I would like a Daymaker, but whoa the sellers like them too. I might get one eventually, but I was curious as to if anyone else has tried to just change out the bulb only along with others on theirs.

I also like the idea of the stop light "flash" and it seems to work better on an LED light as opposed to a bulb.

Thanks.

I guess mainly if using an LED in the headlight will work (be brighter) and if all the bulbs are just a simple "plug and play".

If you want to save money on the headlight, call fuel moto, they sell an LED replacement bulb that seems to have been well received. Otherwise Daymakers are amazing, but expensive.

Then call custom dynamics for the rest. Bulbs are plug and play. A lot of guys running Bright *** Lights tail light with great success.

Fuel Moto has both the headlight led and the spots led. They were $69.95 for each set when I bought them for my 2008 Ultra Classic. They work great. Really light up the night.

OP, It partly depends on your budget. I tried less expensive LED bulbs and they work OK, but they are not as bright and one running light burnt out. A better option is, maybe say Custom Dynamics or Bright *** Lights. I ended up putting CD all around plus added Aux. lighting front and back as all CD lights have a lifetime warranty and are bright. For running lights, plasma rods, light inserts and Aux. lights I probably have $600-700 and a Daymaker is another $525. But my new to me bike already had a Daymaker. Yes, safety isn't cheap but It's nice to see and be seen. Good luck with your hunt and decision.

I have done a ton of things my my 08 Ultra but the BEST upgrade I have done is the lighting. Every light on my bike has been converted to Custom Dynamics LED lighting with the strobe flash in the rear. The headlight and spot lights were bought as a kit from from Napa. They are truck light phase 7 LED's, plug and play. The headlight and spot lights are by far and away, night and day over stock. I also changed my wiring so the spots stay on when using the high beam. Here is a link to the spots and headlight I bought, but I bought them at my local Napa and at a better price.

Here's my LED headlight set up. Headlight is a Truck Lite Phase 7 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/142399579000 buy it here for $70!!!!!- this is normally $200-250) Passing lights are cree. Those ran me $40 on eBay as well. Saw the exact set of passing lights at a shop for $150.

On my 2012 RK I changed all bulbs to LED from Fuel Moto, and all signal lenses to clear. I got my load equalizer from Fuel Moto as well. I think it cost me about $400 to do all of them. Much brighter and whiter lighting. While a group of us was at Sturgis we were on the interstate at night several times, other riders I was with commented about how bright my lights were and now plan to order the same bulbs. If you do the signal lights, get the halo LED bulbs. They produce a white light when the bike is running and then flash orange when the signals are on. By doing this you have the headlight, passing lights, and signal lights all lit up. I actually don't ride much at night (too many deer where I live) but to me it is also added safety during the day. Cagers can see me coming much more than when I had the incandescent bulbs. Absolutely worth doing.
