I'm wanting some different wheels for my 94 RK. What years will fit? Has HD changed anything that would keep later year model wheels form fitting my 94?

They went to a bigger axle in 2000, from 3/4" to 1". I asked about it at my local H-D shop and was told they make a adapter to put the new wheels on our older bikes.
The 2000 and up are all sealed bearings. The front axles are 1" on all touring models from 2000 & up and the rear axlewas3/4" from 2000 - 2001 then in 2002 they started making them all 1"

So for ease, I need to stay with 94 through 99?
Just the correct axle sizes. The newer sealed bearings is a nice conversion. If your not changing the rotors and pulley also you'll need to make sure you order the correct hubs to accept you pre 00 stuff.
Bama - I have a set of chrome laced wheels off my '99RK if you're interested. You could have them CHEAP. They even have Avon WW tires on them with probably 50% tread, maybe more. Front has both rotors as well. PM me if you're interested.

Correct. I had tunnel vision when I posted. I want to upgrade the front end of my 99 to a 2000 and up.I went to the H-D shop and asked if it could be done and was told yes. So i was just posting about the front axle and wheel for my aplication, thanks for correcting me. I want to go with the better calipers and the balcklegs and uppersfor my Road Glide. Any body have some take off calipers and a cast front wheel2000 and up they want to get rid of?
