Any ideas as what to use to clean the inner fairing on a R.G., it has a lot of 'faded' patches. Was thinking about trying 'Armoral' which I have used successfully on the dashboard of cars. Anyone ?...b.

I just did mine a month ago with Miguires Back to Black its designed for the exterior black trim on cars. Its held up great and lasted for at least three washings and a 250 mile rain soaked ride.
I despise Armor All!
On my inner faring, which had gone pretty gray especially on top, I used Turtle Wax "Trim Restorer". That was about 16 months ago, numerous washings, a few thousand miles and 3 trips to Florida and thus at least 3 times in the rain. It's just now barely starting to fade a little. I also used it on all the blak engine and transmission parts. It is still looking good and even hid a few spots where I had gotten wax into the textured black bits.

I had the same fading problem with the inner fairing of my 09 Street Glide.
Harley has come out with a fix for this problem as opposed to tearing apart and painting.
The product is called "Black Inner Fairing & Trim REJUVENATOR"
I used it on my inner fairing and it really did the trick. You can purchase it at your local Harley dealer.
