CN,
That sounds right
You still have to tear the forks apart to install the initial reload plunger...
after that the fillers are installed into the hole where you would install your fluid...

CN...the preload adjuster adapter has to be installed during the rebuild as you are compressing the springs...then you can add additional preload with the shims after the forks are back in place.

This is ingenious and will save mechanics and wantabee's lots of time with fine tuning without tearing everything apart again or changing oil weight to compensate

Ok...then this reload plunger takes the place of the top 'washer/spacer' on the spacer tube inside the leg, (or in place on top of it) and you can add or pluck out any number of additional 'shims' to mess with the preload. Cool. Where do I sign up?

It's funny and you guys can probably all relate......before the RaceTech setup I thought the back end of my RK with Accu-Track and Works shocks was the 'be all, end all' and front forks sucked. Now the rear end is the weak link once again. Man....I wish my RK was a tad less beefy. It would really rock if it weighed 100 or more pounds less.
Now I suppose I could just ease off a bit on the chrome thing I've got going and that would help but,...that's NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!.
