Get a manual. It will have everything in there you need to know including what special tools.

Fairly simple to do. As stated, follow the manual. Most special tools can be worked around such as using a piece of flat stock to lock the sprockets when loosening. You will need the proper sized socket for the clutch hutch nut. Pressing in and out bearing can be done with carefully with a large socket if you don't have the proper installer/remover (or you can rent from autozone) and bottle jack jig using a vehicle. Be sure to support the inner primary in the proper places when doing so as it will flex otherwise.

Google is your friend ,,,,,
Look up ,, "Removing compensator on Harley",,, plenty of videos out there showing this...

Also look up ,, "Removing inner primary", and "Installing inner primary bearing on Harley", .... After checking out the videos appertaining to your bike , you will get a good idea of the procedure and tools you will require ...
Doing the above, and the workshop manual should get you ready to go if you are handy on the tools ....
Regarding the inner primary bearing, when I purchased replacement parts , gaskets , etc, at dealer, I took Inner primary cover with me and got them to remove and install bearing and seal ....

Check out the Baker inner primary bearing. It is a sealed bearing that is not pressed on the shaft, just a slip fit. Easier to install and pretty sturdy.

Buy a whole new "chrome" inner primary. Comes complete from the moco with all bearings, dowel pins, and seals installed. $270

FYI, a 6 inch long 3/8 extension works great between the sprockets to lock things in place when loosing and tightening, just about everyone already has one in their toolbox.
