OP said he always liked the look of the CVO...and the 103 engine.....so he must be happy his mods.....personally i would still paint it and call it a day....

As far as what I have done with my bike. Power commander v, which will NOT go in the trade, cam bearings, tensioners, 510 cams, police seat with air tank, and a chrome package as well as kerker slip ons and high flow breather. As far as I know the CVO is stock. I love the look of the CVO but I like what I have done with mine as well. If there isn't much of a power difference, ill stay with what I have. I have not had the chance to test ride the CVO yet. My 88 can stay all day with a 103 street glide a budy has and he has a stage 3 set up. We will see.

I have had my '03 since it had 2k miles. I wouldn't trade it for another 2003 unless I knew the maintenance history. Do you know the maintenance history?

Just a warning to the op...once you go cvo every bike you look at from there on will be lacking a little something ...start by comparing all the little details that cvo has over your road king, which is a nice bike by the way, and I think you'll see what you already know. Get the best deal you can for yourself and consider yourself warned lol
