Oil mist lines
On my road king the po installed a stage 1 air intake,but I notice the 2 oil mist lines behind the filter just point back to the throttle body,their is no place for them to go other than that,the back side of my k&n filter gets pretty wet

That was the design by the mfg. of the air cleaner kit. This is an EPA requirement, to re burn oil vapors. Google external breather videos and I think you'll find one that will work with your set up. The oil is causing carbon deposits on the piston tops/crowns.
