Ambient air temp wrong

Ambient air temp wrong
THough we've had a heat wave since Irma, I thought my air temp indication was off. Just went outside, turned the bike on and it said 94F. Checked my phone and it reads 77F. Checked the WX channel and it reported 74F for the Atlanta area.
Is it out of calibration? Can something be done to correct it?
My Trike has 3400 miles and is less that two months old.
