They rid you of very useable torque in the rpm range where you ride the most. Even worse if you have true duals. If loud is the goal it's no problem. If you're going for Performance, they are literally the very last exhaust that would be on my list.
A friend of mine has them and I rode the bike. It was asleep until 3500rpm.
The se204 is a great all around cam that won't be fully utilized with the cfrs. The 204 shines where the cfrs are known to dip plus they drone bad couldn't bear them after an hour

good to know thanks for the info I do like the 204 cams but I also like the sound of the cfr so maybe Ill just keep my rineharts and save some disappointment if the performance goes down hill

The rh's are definitely a better pipe to me..they have an amazing sound and don't lose the power..the cfr's are good in their own right too but it's more of an aquired taste I think

i just like the sound of them and I thought if some guys maybe had better suggestions to a different cam to run with them other than the 204 that will sound and perform nicely on a otherwise stock 96 tc Id think about a cam swap as well only due to the fact I have to get it re tuned and Im pulling all the covers off to get them powder coated anyways

I've got a good friend of mine said and did the same thing your wanting to do, it hurt his bottom end with a lot of throttle lag and now he's not overly happy with the sound either. He say's they have a drone at cruise that's really annoying and thinking of taking them off.
So you had several people tell you the bad of the cfr's, so it's up to you now but if you bolt them on you will probably be one of many that say's, I think they didn't hurt my bike at all, in fact I think it has more power now. LOL
Just kidding but I's seriously think of going a different direction, good luck.
