Default Electrical Issue 2015 Limited

This is going to be long, so please bear with me... will provide as much detail as possible...
2015 Limited, LED lights installed 18 months ago (wired directly to battery w/ independent fuse)
Saturday morning, dead battery, bought new one (O'Reilly, 400cca, OE is a 405cca)
Computer slow to reset, took a long time for left hand screen select buttons to work and for right hand 'select' button to work... got better after about 50 miles
Cigarette lighter (accessory, installed by HD in the dash) didn't work
Got to Chattanooga, discovered blown 20amp Power and Accessory fuse... replaced the fuse, cigarette lighter started working
Ride back to Nashville... cigarette lighter not working again
Heated grips also not working, fog lamps not working and fog light switch light not illuminated (the little green indicator light on the switch)
Discovered blown P&A fuse again - replaced the fuse, pulled the seat and made sure no wires were grounding out
Rode all day yesterday, everything worked perfectly... turned off the bike with everything working
This morning, cranked it up, no switch indicator light, cigarette lighter not working... blown P&A fuse
SUGGESTIONS?

You have a short somewhere in the P&A circuit (possibly intermittent), or the circuit is overloaded.

Heated grips and the cigarette lighter are heavy loads when in use.

Have you done any work on the bike? Added any accessories, etc.? Did you examine the fuse? Was there any splatter material in the fuse or did it look like it melted? That might tell you if it was a direct short or overloaded.
