What did you have done to your Sundowner seat? I have that seat and was thinking about having some work done to it as it is getting some miles on it.
Super Narrow and memory foam. Does not look modded to the casual observer, ahh, but the ride is the difference. I was only going to do the foam, but talking to them I decided to go with the S.N. mod also, The 'King did seem to ride a little high, now I have more leg on the ground, so to speak, and feels more secure when riding 2 up. Call 'em, talk it over, they are really nice folks. There was a bit of a wait on mine, they can get busy, but they have options if you must rush, but I recommend to call 'em and think out what works best for you.
Not bragging or anything, but lowering the stock HD seats IMO, has a tendency to take up ballroom. The front nose of the HD seats would be more comfortable if they would bump into the tank a couple of inches lower than they do. At least stay below the tank console, JMHO!

I agree with ending the seat at the tank. Even though it isn't visible I hate the way the seat mars the paint.
