service manuals

I upgraded from a 08 anniversary ultra to a low milage 2012 CVO ultra (sapphire blue) last month. I still have the service manual and parts book for the 08 but not needed anymore. I also purchased the ESP from Harley on the CVO for 5 yrs due to the known 110 issues. (piece of mind) So i'm sorta not really decided if i need the service manual for the 2012 along with the supplemental CVO book and the parts book as well. It does add up for the books and since i now have the ESP I wont be doing anything major myself other than the maintenance. By the way the 08 books are for sale if anyone is interested. If anyone has a good line on prices for them i will consider it but new from dealer is crazy price.. thanks Jeff

As far as I'm concerned, whatever the price the dealership wants for factory service and parts manuals, it's money well spent. I wouldn't be without it.

Yes you need it. I guarantee you you can find a cheap one on Ebay.
