Default When To DYNO

I just bought a 2007 FLHTCU Ultra Classic and installed the 103ci (1690 cc)Stage II Big Bore Kit, Stage I AC, PC III, Download, Oil Cooler, Vance & Hines TD Ovals, and etc. When should I DYNO the bike, beforeor after some mileage?

You want to get at least 500 miles on that build before dyno tuning. That way the rings are seated and everything has been shaken down and rady to ride as normal.

Some dyno tuners request 1000 miles before doing the tune.

I agree. Complete the breakin on the new motor, change the oil, then get it tuned.

If you are not a gifted confident tuner then you almost have no choice.Unless you have a talented friend.
