That's only true for HD branded tires,as long as you have a different brand you can use any old air you like,but if you don't buy their tires you will likely burn to death slowly in a horrific accident,it is one of those catch 22 situations...
Dealer is FULL OF $HIT!!! I also had a Big Crank battery fail recently, wouldn't take a charge, less than a year old and has a "Made in China" sticker on it. Bit the bullet and just bought a Harley battery but at $200 a pop I will look into a different battery the next go around...

Get a second opinion from an Indy shop or another HD dealership. Most of the Indy shops are own by former HD mechanic and or have former HD mechanic working for them.
