Default Tire concerns.
Hey y'all so I ride a 2007 Road Glide. It currently has a 140/90H16 (MU85B16) on it. I found an aggressive 140/70H16 I'd like to put on her. What besides a few inches in height will it change?

Yep, it'll change speedometer accuracy, and depending upon what you mean by "aggressive" possibly handling.

Speedometer accuracy, not sure if a dealer can change and make it correct, but would be worth ask if it matters.

I mean the tire has a deeper tread pattern then most. I had the same tire on a different bike and loved it. I'll call the stealership and ask them if they can correct the Speedo. Thanks for the help so far.

Most tires I’ve run on my 07 have 11/32” what tire has more than that?

You speed in 6th gear will be slower for the same RPM however being an 07 that's not a bad thing since the 07's were geared a bit high... might improve your ride-ability overall, but your speed will drop about 20% if I did the math right, 75 on ODO will be 60 actual.

Re-figure your math. 25.92 inches tall verses 23.8 inches is closer to 10% than 20%.

This is just me but I would rather use the size my bike needs... Make sure you also adjust your headlight.

Thanks perki48, in the wee hours of the morning the 20% seemed to large, I must have hit a wrong digit when I crunched the numbers.. So yes its not quite a 10% error... 75 on OD is 68 actual.
